This strong mud holder/hawk is made from #16 gauge stainless steel for strength and longevity. A 12" x 6" blade features a lip along one of the long sides to help keep the mud in place. The lip extends up 1-1/2" to hold material without be obtrusive to the user. Lip can also be used to clean off knives. Use this blade to hold drywall mud, plaster, or other materials. A 1/2" thick sponge rubber hand protector fits snugly beneath the blade to prevent calluses. A zinc-plated screw connects the handle to blade. A smooth wood handle provides a comfortable grip. Stainless steel makes clean-up easy. Some assembly required. Proudly made in the USA.
