Quality Control Inspector
FIRST SHIFT, MONDAY - FRIDAY
Requirements and Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and visual inspection of all incoming parts. Proficient in reading blueprints and use of micrometers, calipers, height gauge, tape measure, and hardness tester.
Identification of non-conforming parts through incoming inspection and the respective Quarantine action.
Complete and review appropriate inspection reports for all inspected parts and filing.
Support efforts to effectively implement Quality Management System in raw material stock and QC inspection area.
Assist with non-conforming products in inventory control, supervise hold and release disposition of materials in incoming QC hold area.
Communicate effectively with team members, shipping and receiving and respective production or inventory management.
Maintain an organized work area and proper housekeeping and safe working environment.
Familiar with Microsoft Office, data entry for accurate record keeping.
Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Records observations and may make recommendations to QC Manager/Engineering, for improving processes. Requires an undergraduate degree and 4-6 years of related experience. Reports to QC Manager. Include salary requirements with resume.
